The aims of the Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced GCE Physics specifications are to encourage students to develop essential knowledge and understanding in physics. Where appropriate, the applications of physics, and the skills needed for the use of this in new and changing situations. This understanding should then be developed related to present day society
Topics covered include, Mechanics, radioactivity, electricity, thermal physics, astrophysics, waves, our universe, fields and forces.
A practical exam is not required as we are an international centre for both AS and A2 level .
