There are 18 units in the specifications provided by QCA for exam boards to achieve in their delivery of A Level Mathematics. These primarily are to develop mathematical understanding and processes to allow a student to reason logically and recognise incorrect reasoning. This in turn will allow progression to different areas of mathematics. Students will be required to recognise ‘Real World’ problems and how they can be refined and improved.
